Bryan Beitler’s career includes 37+ years of experience in refrigeration and HVAC design, sales, energy, and operations support for businesses focused on grocery retail, cold storage, process refrigeration, and other mission critical systems.
Bryan’s experience has been highly technical, managing engineering services, manufacturing of refrigeration equipment, providing direct sales support to select customers, as well as operations and Energy Optimization Services support. He holds a degree in Engineering Technology with emphasis on refrigeration and HVAC from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, Calif. Bryan is active with industry organizations such as ASHRAE, RETA & FMI. He is a contractor’s license qualifier, holding 30+ licenses in various states and regions. Recently, Bryan co-authored an ASHRAE sponsored Commissioning Guide for Commercial and Industrial refrigeration systems. He is currently the President and CEO of the North American Sustainable Refrigeration Council (NASRC), a non-profit organization focused on the acceleration of natural refrigerants into the marketplace.
Justin Wilson, CEM
Director of Operations
Justin Wilson is the Director of Operations for the Energy Optimization division of CoolSys. He has over 20 years of industry experience, and in his current role, oversees a team of 25 employees with a nationwide presence who support the energy needs of customers in diverse markets. He is skilled in technical project scope development and project return on investment analysis and is experienced in facilitating collaboration between energy end-use customers, utilities, and contractor project implementation. Justin is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM), accredited by the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE).
Jeff Schmidt, CEA, PEM
Jeff Schmidt is a Senior Manager of Energy Optimization at CoolSys, managing projects throughout the United States. He is a Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) through the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) and a Certified Professional Energy Manager (PEM) with the Institute of Energy Professionals (IEP). With over 30 years in the supermarket refrigeration and air conditioning industry, Jeff implements strategies to reduce energy from audit to verification. He was instrumental in creating a patented control strategy to reduce energy and leads a highly qualified team that optimizes Building Energy Management Systems to reduce energy costs and minimize emergency service calls.
Senior Manager, Energy Optimization West
Anthony (Tony) Imbarrato is a Senior Manager of Energy Optimization at CoolSys, managing projects throughout the United States and the Hawaiian Islands. He has over 36 years in the supermarket refrigeration and air conditioning industry, 20 of those years with Source Refrigeration & HVAC. Tony implements strategies to reduce energy from audits to verification and leads a highly qualified team that optimizes Energy Management Systems to reduce energy and maintenance costs. Tony is a specialist in EMS design, retrofit, installation projects, and VFD installation. He is a member of the Association of Energy Engineers, Calif., a C-20 license holder, Washington state 06 electrician, Danfoss certified, and CPC specialist.
Senior Project Manager
Ashley is the Senior Project Manager for CoolSys Energy Solutions with over 10 years of Commercial Construction experience with an emphasis on Retail. She has experience in all phases of the construction process, from design to project close out. She is skilled in project scheduling, communication, collaboration, and execution of simultaneous multi-location project role outs. She brings a unique perspective to the CoolSys team having previously held a Construction Project Manager role for a large grocer. Ashley has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Construction Management from the University of North Florida.
Jonathan is a Senior Manager of the Southwest area for the Energy Optimization division of Source Refrigeration & HVAC with over 25 years of industry experience. He is very experienced in project scope development and high volume project management. Has experience in customer and contractor training of most energy management systems. He is experienced in facilitating collaboration between energy end use customers, utilities and contractor project implementation. He has held a role as a Project Manager for 15 years and has a Associates Degree in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning from Cypress College in Cypress, CA.
Steve is the lead programmer for CoolSys Energy Solutions, with over 30 years of industry experience. In his current role, Steve, configures, aids in the design and is versed in many of the controls systems available today. He is skilled in technical project scope and creates custom control strategies to accommodate customer’s needs while meeting and exceeding all code requirements. He is knowledgeable in all phases of commercial and industrial refrigeration controls and components. Steve’s certifications in control systems include, Distech , Danfoss and Emerson. Variable Frequency Drive certification include, Danfoss, ABB, Allen Bradely and Yaskawa; Lighting controls including: Blue Box, G100, Cutler Hammer, Distech and Emerson.
