Justin Wilson Earns CEM Certification and Enrolls in Pepperdine MBA Program
Director of Energy Optimization, Justin Wilson, was recently certified and received board-level approval by the Association of Energy Engineers as a Certified Energy Manager (CEM). With passing the arduous CEM exam, Wilson demonstrated the technical strengths to effectively evaluate energy use and design energy optimization programs.
“We are proud of Justin’s accomplishment and the added level of expertise the CEM credential lends to our customers. With this added knowledge and education, we can continue to provide the latest energy optimization solutions and remain at the forefront of emerging trends.”
Wilson joins the ranks of an elite group of 15,500 active CEMs worldwide, who are strengthening the growing energy efficiency field. The designation is globally renowned within the industry as the highest standard in personnel certification accreditation and is not tied to any specific vendor training program. Accredited under ANSI/ISO/IEC Standard 17024, the CEM certification also is recognized under the Better Buildings Workforce Guidelines developed in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Energy.
Constantly in the pursuit of knowledge, Wilson also entered into an MBA program through Pepperdine University, Graziadio School of Business and Management this spring. “I believe that you should never stop learning and I’m excited to put my new business know-how to work for Source customers,” says Wilson.
