Whole Foods Saves on Energy Costs
CoolSys Energy Optimization performed engineering work for a Sacramento area Whole Foods Market that resulted in a 31% reduction in energy usage. Not only did the market reduce its overall carbon footprint, but $225,000 in SMUD rebates are contributing to their overall energy cost reduction. The improvements made to air conditioning, refrigeration and lighting are estimated to provide energy savings of 659,700 KWH per year. CoolSys Energy Optimization was instrumental in upgrading and replacing parts of the Whole Foods’ store refrigeration and HVAC system including the addition of energy management software and sensors that will continue to help regulate the store’s energy usage. This type of savings is representative of what CoolSys Energy Optimization can do to help you lower your energy usage and costs.
